Sports have been around since ancient times, dating back to 7000 BCE. The activities that later became sports were initially associated with entertainment. The sports industry is a subcategory of entertainment.

Why do people do the activities? Or why human give time to sports? Humans take sports in the term of fitness, improving their skills. Sometimes people do it for their entertainment purpose and earning purpose. The persons who involve in sports are quite famous and earn huge amount and popularity. Same is in the case of organizations who involved with sports industry earn lots of amount. Booming of the sports industry in the 2020 have several reasons, like the  digital changes, extension of esports, increasing globalization, participation of brands and sponsorship, priority on health grooming and continued interest of sports in entertainment and cultural aspects.

There are much more reasons why sports industry is booming?. People here in today’s world are fitness freak they want to become active and want to be fit thats why the choose sports. In 2020, participatory sports were really popular, making up 72.1% of the market. Fitness and recreational sports were the biggest parts of this, accounting for 39.9%. Why is the world obsessed with sports? One big reason why people love sports nowadays is because they bring communities together. People have always been into sports for a long time. The reasons behind our love for sports are pretty complicated. Basically, sports let us take a break from our everyday lives and feel like we belong to something bigger.

Moving forward with the history “golf” game was officially launched, on December 25, 1695, lessees (people renting land) were given permission to choose a specific area (“an aiker”) on the Links (a type of land) for a quarry (a place where stone or sand is dug up). Baseball also had some trouble with players using drugs to perform better.
